One of the really cool things about this site (other than the terrific guitar instruction) is it's international appeal. Has anybody tallied up how many different countries are represented by TG members?

Moved to Chico, Calif. in 1959 and like Terry, been here ever since. Except for 2 years spent under water while serving in the Sub. Service during the early 70's. Join the Navy and see the word..... Right.
Actually, I did get to see some pretty awesome places in the So. Pacific.

Nice intro-- My dad did 16 yrs on diesal subs with british Navy, (smell that ), I joined oz navy and got on a destroyer..NAVY - never again Volunteer yourself

Wow! 16 years on a Diesel. He has my respect. My sub was a Nuc-Fast Attack not a missile boat. Mine was one of the smallest at the time, only 250 feet long, Missile boats are over 600 feet. I spent weekends after my active duty on a diesel boat moored in Alameda, CA doing reserve duty. Now that was SMALL!
