If you need a good laugh, Bob Dylan's new Christmas CD "Christmas In The Heart" is out now. Amazon has some audio clips available for you listening pleasure (or dis-pleasure).

My review, even for a Jewish guy, Bob should have kept Christmas in his heart and not let it hit his vocal chords. Track 8, "Adeste Fideles" is a particular groaner! :)

I TOTALLY agree with that point of view! Never known for his singing chops, this Christmas album will turn a few "True Believers" into aetheists!! Quite possibly the worst singing I've ever heard!! :silly:

Let's face it, Bob Dylan was never known as a good singer. But the music he wrote will live on long after all of us are dead a buried. ;)

That's true Paul, but this CD may live on long after Bob Dylan is dead and gone...much like "Plan 9 From Outer Space". :laugh:

Listen to a couple of them;

As he is donating all of the roylaties to charities for meal assistance, perhaps we should be equally charitable in our reviews..... :unsure:

Always strive for honesty. But always be charitable.
Sometimes, its best not to say anything, just buy the thing.

Naw, I'd donate to charity just to not have to listen to that CD!! Lousy singing is just plain lousy singing! And THAT is being charitable!! :lol:

Isn't it bad enough that he kills his own songs without killing other artists classics! Yep he writes good stuff and thats his strength. Good on him for doing the charity thing, though next time he should just give the cash upfront though lol!

Speaking of bad singers but some great music has anyone ever heard Robert Earl Keen's "Merry Christmas from the Family"? It's starting to become a Christmas classic in my household. Enjoy.
