Joe: I was unaware of your health issues.....I will keep my fingers crossed as well. Take care my friend!Time for me to do this now I think.
Ok, I graduated from University of Humberside, its is Hull in 1995 with a B.S (Hons) in Administrative Management. Came back to my home town of Sunderland and quickly found a job working in the customer service department for the largest telecoms provider in the UK. What was supposed to be a 3 month contract ended up being 9 years with the company! I left the company due to illness.
Since then I've had a couple of short term contracts with companies in the banking and energy sectors- customer service jobs again.
I also spent some time working for the prison service. I worked with young offenders, which was an eye opener, and for 6 months I escorted contractors and visitors around a large prison in the north east, I really enjoyed that, I was outside all day, walking all over, many miles every day, I was so fit at the end of the summer, and had the best tan I've ever had.
I left that job because my round trip to and from work was 2 hours a day minimum, that and I found a better paying job closer to home- which unfortunately fell throu the day before I was due to start it.
Since then I've continued to work in customer services until my health deteriorated at the start of this year. Since July I've been unemployed, my medical issues are pretty much under control now ( fingers crossed), so I'm back to looking for work now.
