I used to live in Jefferson Texas. Been to Gilmer many times but never met the man. I've met some of his family but never him. Good singer but I don't know about being the 'best'.

He is a top notch musician though.

Here is Australia's Daryl Braithwaite in singles duty here (been in several top bands), a mix of Gabriel, Winwood, ad a little Christopher Cross..
