Now heres another very subjective opportunity for us to disagree on. This thread was prompted by a comment in my Famous Musos Birthday Thread so i've moved it here to keep things tidy.
So how about trying to come up with a list of your thoughts on greatest Vocalists, say a list of max 10, (edit) so from Matts comment make it two lists one for male and one for Female
They can be living or dead, must be from significant or well known bands or solo artists, no obscure Karaoke singers allowed!
No need for explanations, respect peoples choices please be nice!
Now i've started it I actually need to go away and think about it, (or actually get back to work!)
Greatest Male Vocalist list and Greatest Female Vocalist list
I swore I was going to avoid these "Best of" or "Worst of" threads but I can't resist!
I have two that for me are over the top beautiful singers:
1. Annie Haslam- Renaissance
2. Connie Dover- She's an American singer from Missouri but her fame comes from singing Irish and Celtic music.
These two women inspire and transport me to a beautiful place on their voices.
Enjoy! :cheer:

Hey H, I was just going to post Eva and was looking to see if Chas had separated the thread. SO I vote with you. Best female voice ever!
I find it very hard to keep my eyes dry when she sings.
