Hey Guys-

I was trying to open another Tom Petty mysterious can of worms. I just had trouble finding the right emoticon.

Neil, Matt & others, You might consider the 12th annual California Worldfest at the Grass Valley Fairgrounds July 15 - 18, it has 8 stages of music, dance from around the world also workshops & international food, children's programs, all under the pines of the Sierra Foothills, camping also. This year "Keb Mo", Mia Dyson, DepEdro, Baskery, Ma muse, Tannahill Weavers and 20 or 30 more.

Last Year they had Tommy Emmanuel, Ledward Kaapana (slack key guitar), Indo Girls, Sid Lewis, Los lobos and about 30 others. Check it all out at Californiafestival.com Come for 1, 2 or 3 days of music and workshops from some of the best musicians world wild and excellent international food. Gary I will post this on a new thread maybe in March or there about, when they know who all will be coming.

Kevin, man if I lived within 2 or 3 hours driving distance I'd be doing my best to get to that one. Gary

I originally read this as "Woot the Eagles" are coming to Silicon Valley.

Who are these "Woot the Eagles" that Matt is pushing and Neil is dissing?

Must be some new punk group that I have never heard of...

I had to read through a bunch of replies until I realized you are talking about the Eagles - are they still around? I live in Silicon Valley - I'll go if Neil goes.

I thought Hell already froze over for these guys anyway.

This last summer we went to a Guitar Blues concert with Ruthie Foster, Robben Ford & Jorma Kaukonen. That was a great show.
