I figured I might as well ask... MarkM and I are both by coincidence going to be in Vegas this coming week and plan to meet up, I don't suppose anyone else may be there too? Let us know.

My wife won a free trip there for the 5, 6, & 7th. We are undecided at the moment. Super Bowl weekend in Vegas is nuts!

What days are you there?

Make sure to check out Cowtown Guitars if you like boutique style stuff, and Ed Romans is a neat store to check out s well....Both are nice guitar shops.

OK. Two days now not playing and I'm getting anxious (spelling?) You never know how much you miss playing until you're away for a few days. Vegas is good. Meeting, meeting, meeting, event, event, event. I tried to behave tonight as I'm pacing myself but open bar got in the way. D_Dog called today and hopefully we'll fit in a few drinks tomorrow. Santana is playing for us tomorrow evening so that should be great!! I saw the Here comes the Sun lesson and that should be fun. Thanks TG Staff for that. Still got Suite: Judy Blue Eyes on the brain. Here's hoping for the 2nd lesson for my return home to the cold. Well got to get to bed for that 5:45AM wake up call. Hope all is well!!!

I'm surprised and disappointed that you didn't bring your guitar. Last summer, I purchased (on Craigs List) a small alvarez folk guitar for 100 dollars, intending to use it as a beatup/travel guitar. It sounds OK, but more importantly, it's easy to take with me on the rare occasion that I travel. Last weekend, I was not far from you in Reno, and the guitar fit very easily, despite a full flight, in the overhead compartment. Painless.

It isn't neccesarily the lack of guitar but rather the abundance of alchohol and staying out till 3am :) Ugg!
