If any of you haven't seen "Crazy Heart" go see it. Awesome movie. Nominated for 3 Academy Awards. Not that that means anything but if you like movies about musicians and music then this is a must see. I would compare it to "Walk the Line" if you have seen that one. If not then see it too! Ive attached the trailer below. Enjoy.

Thanks for the reminder Catfish... I'd heard this was a good film and I love Geff Bridges... and Walk the Line was brilliant...so I'll be going!

I gather it's not yet out on DVD. The trailer does look good.

Walk the line was depressing. I hope this one isn't.

August Rush was a great movie. Walk the line was very depressing.

I really enjoyed August Rush, wouldn't say its just a kids movie though, something there for all of us... Walk The Line may have been depressing but I guess thats how it was, can't make a depressing life happy ... It was true to the life and style of the man, thats what I like in movies like that, they reflect how things really were and don't use artistic licence to cover things up for the sake of making a buck!

I agree, a very good movie. I saw it opening night. Not a "feelgood" movie but there is a note of redemption that felt good.

I thought it ironic that the first scenes were in a bowling alley considering Jeff Bridges other famous role as " The Dude" in The Big Lebowski. I expected him to be drinking a white russian instead of bourbon. I'll definitely be buying the soundtrack.

One question for those who have seen Crazy Heart.....do housebands really learn the nomadic headliners music so quickly, and thoroughly? I thought that to be amazing.
