This topic surfaced on the forum a while back (Doing it while standing up). Neil, what advice can you offer about the differences between playing while standing (as you would when performing) vs. what most of us typically do when practicing -- sitting down. I've noticed that while the stability of the guitar can be improved when standing with a strap, the orientation is just different enough that it can be a challenge to play equally well in both positions. Is it just a matter of practice? Any advice for how best to adjust the strap (guitar height)?
