Great driving songs (or songs that make you sing like no one's listening!)

I was on my way to work today-- had a bit of a drive ahead of me. Wasn't really in any sort of mood. Turned on the radio and started flipping stations. Landed on a song that I hadn't heard in a long time. It totally perked me right up. Got me enjoying my drive... Got me singing along.. LOUDLY.

Got me thinking it would make a good thread-- what songs can totally change your mood? Get you out of a funk? Makes you sing like no one's listening? Driving or otherwise.

The song for me from today was Steve Miller's, 'Jet Airliner'. Found I was listening to the guitar licks differently from the last time I heard the song too.

I also thought of another great one, and I'd like to dedicate it to Neil.

Enjoy!

This is a medley from my 'Go to Band', grew up listening to these guys.

At 7.50 a really good driving song, called funnily enough 'Along for the ride and the view'

This would have to be my vote for the ultimate cruisin down the highway song. The only problem with it is by the time they get to the chorus I am usually pushing 80 MPH. I am going to get a ticket for this one of these days. It would almost be worth it.

Thread originated in Canada, seems appropriate to throw up a Canadian:
