Chas,

I downloaded the trial version of GP 6. It took almost 2 hours. Then I installed it on the old rig, only to find out that the trial version will not allow me to open any of Neils, or anyone's tabs.

Now I'm left to spend my time thinking about breasts and buttocks I guess.
But only in a professional guitar way.

It does, however allow the trial user to pick one of its canned songs and play around with it.

Now that I've had time to think about this GP 6 thing, I think I may bite the bullet and give it a shot. Maybe Santa will take care of it or something.

I don't recall the trial version being limited. Hmmm...

Scott, Not exactly sure why it won't open Neil's tabs for you I never had that issue with the trial version. The trial doesn't usually come with the Realistic Sound Engine (RSE) , if you do buy it that part of the software takes forever to download. One thing about Guitar Pro also once you've bought it the you get free updates up until they bring out a new release then you get that heavily discounted.
