Watched the interviews with Tommy. What a treat.Thank you, the guy is an insperation just listening him talk about guitar. One question however about his guitar I noticed there is some tin foil/ aluminuim thing attached to one of the frets down around the 10th or 12th fret, what is it and what is its purpose

I would like to ask again just incase Mr Wrench is providing mis information. After all if the do-hicky on Tommy's guitar is an official guitar player logo, Neil would have one.
But since this is not the case I would like to ask again.. What is the matalic looking do-hicky on the neck of Tommy's guitar?
Is it just an enlarged fret marker?
Not offence Wrench I am just operating under one of my basic philosphyies.... TRUST but Verify.

Would appreciate a few more ideas on this one.

But thank Mr. Wrench
