Thank you so much everyone for the kind words everyone! That was very, very kind of you!
There are a lot of real special people here...

(b.t.w. It probably wasn't, but I hope this thread wasn't perceived as some big baby fishing for sympathy in cyberspace...it is just that I am thankful for the T.G. family/community & there has been a lot of discussion online about "Still Can't Say Goodbye" which is a blessing I am truly thankful for.)

P.S. "The Women of T.G." rocking out provided some much needed laughter. Thanks, for that too!

Cori, please know it's really appropriate that you express yourself here.
Even if there was no music involved, would be a good move.

I second that, If we don't feel comfortable here sharing , then we lose something special. By the way my quote comes from a Carly Simon song, she took it from a poem by Raymond W Rossiter. I knew the Carly Simon song but only researched the original after Pierre asked.

heres the song

Cori....I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I came across this poem a few years ago and it always comforts me. Take care.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.

Your father, you and your family are in our prayers Cori. I know this must be a terribly difficult time for you all. I hope that the joy of music will help you get through it.

Hi Cori,

Just dropping by to let you know that I'm so very sorry for your father. You said that it was an accident wich means that this was totally unexpected for you and your family, so I'm sure you're going through all sorts of emotions...I hope you can find strenght in music, in your family and friends and especially in your prayers (if you believe in God)..

Please feel free to always express yourself over here...

All the best,

Vanessa
