My dad (64) passed away last Friday; while hunting in a four wheeler accident. (I am doing okay one minute & numb the next.) When I feel like seriously playing again I got a list of must learn songs that were... important to dad and I.
Marty Robbins (El Paso & Big Iron)Kingston Trio, (Jesse James) Homer & Jethro ( Egg Eatin Dog)
A cover of Warren Zevon's "keep me in your heart", & Tommy Emmanuel's "still "Can't Say Goodbye" were important parts of the service,( everyone kept telling us how fitting the music was)...Thank you T.G. for introducing the latter song to my mom, sister, and me.
