Now Ness and the Dutchies, not a bad name for a trio, to be fair you could rotate the name from gig to gig, Anton and the Dutchies, Willem and the Dutchies. That look so relaxed and fun like the pressures off from taking our selves seriously lets have a blast.

I have play this song on Vanessa s guitar.
Three years ago i starting with this song.
Guus Meeuwis,i like a lot of songs from him.
On markets im walking around and play and sing this song.

Man I'm glad this thread go revived, I missed it the first go round.
I've had the fantastic pleasure to meet 4 TG's so far.

It's prob. going on almost 2 years ago now, when I got the chance to meet Dennisg in Seattle, not far from me. We met at a Guitar Center and he was kind enough to bring a camera and tripod and we recoded a very impromptu Here Comes the Sun. I really appreciate the opportunity to meet Dennis and his forethought to bring the camera, thank you so much Dennis, I will call you again "soon" for a re-play.

A few months after that, I met up with MarkM in Las Vegas while we were attending conferences there. Unfortunately we didn't have our guitars with us and couldn't record anything but we sat at the Hard Rock Casino, appropriately enough surrounded by famous guitars, and had a great conversation and a couple drinks. When we returned home Mark initiated a couple of collaborations that we recorded and put up here on TG, Two of Us by the Beatles, and Rocky Raccoon, next time Mark I hope we can record a song in person.

I also had the great pleasure to meet up with Craig from San Diego. As he mentioned in his post, we got to tour the Taylor Guitar factory, this was a real treat, to tour the factory with someone that could appreciate it as much as I did. I'm really happy that Craig had the time to meet up with me here and hang out. Unfortunately I didn't have my guitar with me in San Diego to record anything with Craig. Perhaps a long distance collaboration is in order?

Most recently, I got the pleasure of meeting BigBear. When you meet him you can understand the name, just like a big gentle huggable bear That's a compliment Rick
We only had time to meet for dinner and beers, but we had a really great conversation, I could have stayed there all night talking. BigBear is a really great guy, very kind and generous. I hope to meet up with him again and play. Both Dennisg and BigBear aren't too far away from me.

Sunday 31-07-2011 Anton was here !!! I was login at TG as the allert button YOU GOT MAIL were blinkin(well red) and the message was from Anton and told me he called me,,i saw my phone and yes missed one ,,he ask me if i was at home,,i called him back ''hey Anton i am home and it is'nt to late i geuss to come over'' that was 14:00 pm and 15: 00 pm he was sitting in my(our) room after a welcome he showed me his new picks(plectrums) and we talked a baut things happen on TG and also my attempt to use the Boss Micro BR and he ask to explain how it works and if we could try it out and that went to a very nice afternoon and also I learned a new song that is ''Sailing'' by Rod Stewart,,this song we choose to play together and use the Boss micro BR,, Anton would strum and sing the song and i play some pickin guitar with him,this all recording on video with the Kodak Zi8 and 3 diffrent tracks on the micro BR ,so all the parts were done seperated from each other were we both learned a lot,,only the strumming accompanniment sounde great on the track and i was curious if Anton could sing on that by listening to that,,listen to a recording or listen to your life guitar that is something diffrent(guitar gives more energy),but it went all great,,,so we have two tracks on that moment and after me playing and learning the chord pattern it was my turn to record the pickinguitar this costed some time to do it with no mistakes but this went also to a reasonable recording,,,all in all it was a great afternoon and we had a good time and well you will all know when you have fun then time flowsssssssssss,,,i am now editing the vid and will show it when it is finished,,,

I am as green as Tovo with the fact I have no one near to from TG to jam with, love the fact you guys can do this. Playing with others is the best way to improve for sure the few times in my life that has happened I've got better and built my confidence so on that note I shall finish and say look forward to the video you lucky B'Stards (from a Brit TV show) so acceptable here i think lol
