1. To be a better husband
2. To continue getting enjoyment out of guitar playing
3. To do a bike ride through Italy
4. To Skype more with my friends in distant lands

Predictable it is..

i put no numbers to it.

Really try again and stop the smoking.
a good one for me and started two weeks ago and believe the knife cut's on many sides,,i never believed in sportschool's,,but now i'm in and training many on/used muscles,,i believe when you feel fit you do (i hope) other things also better,,,oooohmmmmm

and that said,,i hope that i can make choices and not to be distracked so quick,,to stay on course,,,hope to manege the bleus also,,,,i try to make better recordings in frame and sound....2011 could be the year of most improving..

Resolutions for 2011:

- keep my powder dry

- check my change

- not mix the used batteries with the new ones

- take the trouble to do legible handwriting

- try to remember people's names

- ignore my reflection if it comes from a dirty or dark surface ...
(note to self: prepare to ignore all of my reflections starting 2012)

- count my blessings every day

Last year, someone had this same thread and I resolved to work on my barre chords.
Well, I did work on them. And then I worked on them some more. Then I spent some time working on them. Finally, I worked on them again. I still have trouble getting them. I can play them if I just go for the barre and not using it in a song, but I can't seem to get my fingers to play them in a song. I'm really upset with my fingers and feel like punishing them. but then....

I was messing around with the minor pentatonic the other day and decided to try for a lead lick. Sweet notes! I started jamming leads with little trouble at all. So. I've decided I'll leave the chords to the rest of you and I'll just play lead.

In the meantime, I do resolve to keep looking for something that lets me play barres correctly and naturally.

For the record, I thought I'd mention that there wasn't a typo in my post.

I understand you mean this in fun, thereshopeyet, but maybe you should clean your computer screen. I try to do mine annually.

Have a great New Years Eve :)

Pierre

[EDIT] a DIFFERENT Leonard Cohen album ? Is there more than one ?
