What is your New Year's resolution?

(I hate to be lame, although I often am....but someone had to ask)

Me personally, I have a bit of a list for 2011!

1. NO new guitars!
2. Visit the USA and meet a few interesting people (does anyone know any?).......yes I AM kidding
3. Take Jay's example and do an open mic night
4. Be happy, love, laugh and ENJOY.

Shouldn't be too hard eh?

I have 2 resolutions: one is to get better at the guitar, and the other is to improve my recording technique.

1. new guitars...YES! (nothing in mind yet, I plan to surprise myself)

2. work less (been saying that one for years)

3. I also plan to visit with a few of the TG members.

4. take better care of myself. Less steaks, more salads. (I hate grazing.)

5. Improve my guitar playing attention sp........oh, look at that........yep, I'm hungry.......

6. Stay away from those energy stocks in 2011. (ouch)

The work less one is common I think Bill. You know what they say, not too many people lay on their death bed and lament not working more hours!

I need to spend at least one day on being lazy each month.

1. Eat better, exercise more and loose weight

2. Work on my website

3. Play out more as a solo act playing guitar and singing

4 Write some new tunes

5. Maybe sell some guitars that I don't play much anymore (Martin D-18s and Fender Strat Delux)

6. Maybe buy a Telecaster

New Year resolutions, let me see,

No 1. Not the same old ones I never stick to for a start
No 2. At least one more guitar, Strat, not decided which one yet.
No 3. Stick to the routine I've planned today, irrespective of current level I am going to play my way through each TG level and post result by playing exactly the TG way forgetting previous influences, so starting with a 1 which will be Lucky man, might try and add the solo in though cos I like that. so you just might get at least 9 posts from me this year. i.e. One of each level that is not all of them.
No 4. Win the Lottery.
No 5. Try and convince work Band to get together more regularly and play more gigs.
No 6. Win the Lottery.
No 7. Get fit, eat better, work out more (well maybe start is the right word not more, for it to be more I actually need to have done something lol)
No 8. Work on producing better recordings, maybe buy better gear, (bad workman blames his tools lol)
No 9. Win the Lottery.
No.10. World cruise after winning lottery and meet some TG friends.

PS (Edit) Remember to log off so my better half doesn't remind me of the obvious ones lol! Oh and did I say Win the Lottery....
