Add to that:
Pixies
Prince
Pet Shop Boys
Spoon
Fifty Cent
Iron Maiden
Talking Heads
Deep Purple (I know, it's a stretch)
The Eels
Police
A Crowded House
T-Rex
The Gorillas are definitely 'Gorillaz'

Oh, and I see about fourteen different Tom Pettys in there....
Maybe it was last night's bubbly though.
Thanks Chas that was fun!

XTC is on the ground behind 'Prince' and 'Matchbox 20'.

I also got;
Prince
Blur
Black Flag
Ratt
Deep Purple
Petshop Boys
Traffic
Korn
Phish

Theres a few more that I see the image but I can't place a band that I've heard of.

I blew up the image so I could actually have a shot at seeing something. LOL

Greenday is the calendar in the lower right.
Yardbirds are the birds on the Yard Street sign. Could be Black Crowes also I guess.

Oooh!
Iron Maiden in the crosswalk. How did I miss that?
The three girls running across the street could be in a 'Rush'.

Thanks Chas. You just reminded me I need to make a resolution to spend my time on TG in more meaningful ways ;-).

How about Mountain?

The weird contortionist thing in the street could be 'Plastic Ono Band'.

I'd love to see the original picture. The resolution on this one makes it hard to see some things.

Andy

You have heard of the Rorschach test Andy? That may explain that one :-)
Must admit, that one was bothering me on the same level as Dennis' Salsa dancing dog :-)

...otherwise, I'm pretty impressed with your grasp of that illustration Andy!

Oh hello. It must be the Acrobats.

I used to get these kinds of puzzles all the time when I was a kid. Love this stuff.
