I visit last friday a friend of mine that play's the guitar very well,then he came up with an dvd from Tony Joe White and he told me he was a sort of guitar herofor him in his early day's and saw him also life here in the Dutch,,i must confess i never heard from him but was glad he introduced me to the man and find his performnece very special..hOw do you like him???

A good ole Louisiana boy. He played the Baton Rouge Blues Festival a few years ago.
Best known for Polk Salad, but also penned a lot of songs for other artists, most notably Brook Benton's A Rainy Night in Georgia.

So this is the guy who penned down Polk Salad Annie??

I know Elvis did a lót of covers, but I had no idea that this song was from Tony Joe White, nice to finally watch the original!
