i did get my hand on one and am very pleased with it,,, almost 80 euro cheaper,,well if you count from when they came for the first time....i find it very easy to use,,but i miss my fexibel cam screen,,now i make pointers to sit and put the cam..

I edit it AVS and made it an AVI

recording settings were 720p,,what you mean with conversion settings i do not understand,,i download it from the cam to my computer(not installed the software that goes with the cam yet),,then put it in the AVS program for editing(cutting some frames and put in some text),,then the producing button and choose for avi format...

I usually convert the .mov file from the Kodak to avi first and then do the editing in AVS.
I'm just wondering why I convert first ... I think because then in the editing you are dealing with a much smaller file which is not going to overload the editing process.
I'll try it your way next time and see...

Oh I see,,not a bad idea i think ''cos you said i t your self you got a much smaller file,,but please let me know when you do it my way what your experience were..
