Ok I am not one of these ppl that can afford the latest and greatest so bought an Android phone as opposed to an eyephone. So any chance of getting TG on droid? How many out there support this?

Chas,

I am an Android user too. When I got my phone, I tried TG and at the time it worked, and by worked I mean that I could view Target lessons. But I didn't find a smartphone a very practical way of using the site, and I hadn't tried accessing it on my phone until your post.

I've just tried again, and now I can't view Target lessons on my phone.

But I find using a Tablet for TG is much more practical. Currently I use an iPad (my wife's, not mine!), but I am definitely planning on an Android tablet in the foreseeable future, and I second your call for TG support for Android.

Chas,
I've been sitting on the fence about buying a smart phone for some time. I had originally thought I'd wait for the Droid Bionic but it's launch is delayed. It was expected to have an NFC chip to enable phone swipe purchasing so it's possible the phone's delayed launch is due to PayPal's lawsuit contending that Google 'wallet' infringes on they're intellectual property. If that's all true it will likely be quite a while before it's resolved (any comments anyone?) and the phone becomes available.
Consequently I'll probably go with the Droid X2 instead. Hope to be able to use it with TG when away from home. I'd appreciate hearing whether any of our community have used this phone to access TG lessons. Thanks,
Tom

Hi Chas

I have An HTC Desire HD with Android 2.3.3
I can access all of TG, well the forum and lessons not tried any community features but can do if needed
Had no problems accessing the site since the 2.2 update

I use the default browser of Android
My signal is the only issue at times

Long live the Droid!
LOL (Private joke)

I have an original Droid. I'd LOVE a TG app.

I have an Android, too, and I'd love to see an app for it. I've had varying success accessing TG through it. Many times it just crashes the browser.
