YOU TUBE what the?

Please excuse me using the forum to ask this question as its not strictly TG related just involves music videos and You Tube. But I would like to know if anyone else has had the same experience.

Suddenly I cannot play You Tube videos, including my own.
I can see any other video on any other site including YT parked videos on TG.
This happened after 2 hours of solid YT video watching today.
Yes I have un-installed and re-installed the latest Adobe Flash player and done a virus scan and re-starts etc.
What I get is the video with no image, just black but the player controls do not appear under or on the video, so I can't play it.
I can use download helper to download it and then play it but I cannot play any video on YT.
Can this be YT blocking me? Or must it be a problem on my pc (Inspiron 1525, 2 years old working perfectly).

Much appreciate any help or light which anyone can shed on this puzzle

Ok. Problem solved... Java did not update itself correctly so I removed and re-installed.
Sorry to waste anyone's time. Odd how it was only YT that was effected.
Dang, I knew I should have held back on the post... too impatient!

I only did get a strange page when i clicked on the links Al send in the thread ''everything i own''... i just watched a view vids on the tube ,,no problem,,,maybe they work on the site,,they don't tell you when they do that...or maybe your provider???
