That is a real shame. Unfortunately, she was always on a one way ticket to self-destruction.
This makes me very sad.
There are so many musical talents that died at the same age, there's actually a Wikipedia entry called the 27 Club:
Amy Winehouse
Brian Jones (Rolling Stones)
Jimi Hendrix
Janis Joplin
Jim Morrison (Doors)
Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
Robert Johnson
Rudy Lewis (Drifters)
Pete Ham (Badfinger)
And a couple dozen others.

I'm glad you appreciated it, Chas. Making jokes about Amy Winehouse's life, and death, is easy to do, and I'm sure there will be plenty made by the media and people. To me, I just think it's sad. Regardless of whether or not she is responsible for her actions, she was very young and very talented and it's sad to see that gone.
