I just heard Dan Peek, one of the founding members of the 1970's group "America" died Sunday at his home in Farmington, MO from unknown causes. He was 60 years old.

America emblazoned my memory with their beautiful harmonies, and I have remained a fan all these years. RIP Dan Peek.

This bad week for music. Sad news. AMERICA have been a huge inspiration to me especially their distinctive guitar sound.
May you rest in peace Dan and thank you for your music.
