I once worked with liquid nitrogen and also dry ice. One thing I learned: do not touch anything if you value your fingers. This fellow seems to touch the super-cold disk with ease.

I guess it's ok as he doesn't touch much of the surface, just the edges so there is not much area contact.
Fire walking would be harder to explain but that seems to work as well.
