Happy Birthday, Ursus Arctos. :) You can legally drink and stay up late now.

Thank you all my wonderful friends for the birthday wishes. Geez, I am getting old!! What an amazing group of people you are who are drawn together by our love of music and the guitar and then become more than that. We become friends. Anyone who doesn't believe that music is universal should visit this site.

I've had a great day so far. Went to a movie (Act of Valor). Great movie but almost a long recruiting video for the US Navy Seals. And having dinner with family. That makes for a good day.

Thank you all again for thinking of me. Blessings to you all.

Rick

Bill- at least it isn't Ursus arctos horribilis!!! I've been accused of being a big 'ornery grizzly bear a few times! I like to think I'm more of a big teddy bear- with claws!

Hi Rick and happy belated birthday wishes mate. Thank you for your help and your genuine love of sharing your considerable music knowledge. You have had a big impact on my own progress and I appreciate that very much.

Hey Bear,

Happy Birthday you big furry thing. I hope you had a fantastic day and that this year brings you lots and lots of love and joy, a real sense that life is great and all the music making you could wish for. You're an important part of the community. You don't speak much at the moment, but when you growl you get people's attention.

Personally, I'm hoping that you'll treat us all with a video of you playing this year.

Happy birthday.

Michele

Hey Rick, you probably are aware that the Canadian one-dollar coin is nicknamed the "Loonie" (image of a Loon), and the two-dollar coin is the "Toonie".
But have you heard that when the two-dollar coin first came out, it was suggested this new coin be named the "Moonie" (but it never caught on).
Why the name "Moonie" ? Because the coin has an image of the Queen, with a bear behind :silly:

Pierre, please! Don't remind me of her majesty's "Anus horibilus".
