I Swore Blind I Wouldn't Do It... But!!!
I swore blind to myself I wouldn't go on about my latest attempt to stop smoking, but progress so far is very encouraging. I am using Champix, may be called something similar in a store near you! Any how, first two weeks you take these tablets and keep smoking, third week you pick a day and stop, welllll that didn't work for me I was into 4th week and I stopped completely, now three days later and still no cigarettes have touched my lips! or any other part of my anatomy for that matter! And hey I feel good, early days thought team, but I go back to pharmacist for repeat prescription of tablets tomorrow. I'm not at the puffing up chest bragging stage just yet; but this is the easiest attempt to stop in years I've experienced
You know, in all of the world, there can't be too many Scot-Kiwis. Thanks for saving an endangered species!
Congratulations, my friend. I am very, very proud of you. Nothing but continued success to you. A toast to you becoming a very old "PLAYA".

Congrats Chas! There are FAR TOO MANY good reasons for quitting to mention.....
I smoked for one summer while working on the road in remote locations, and had no problem quitting..... It was easy because the smokes made me want to throw up every time I lit up..... :woohoo: Well, that and my wife would not come within 20 feet of me because of the smell....
Keep up the great start!!!!
