If you can find it in your neck of the woods be quick this is a charmer.

Wild South Marlborough Pinot Noir 2009 Showing a little development in the hue, which makes you think it is older than it is,the aromas are earthy and savoury with a hint of barnyard and the flavours are with tamarillo and cherry with a spicy sweetness with underlyng acidity. A lighter style. 14% alc.

I just bought a case! Its that good! Most unusual IMHO for Marlborough as Central Otago is usually my choice for Pinot Noir

PS Don't buy the 2011 which is readily available, yet give it time its not ready IMHO

Reading Chas' post above reminded me of a movie that I saw a number of years ago and enjoyed tremendously. It was called "Sideways". If you like wine, and you need a movie for the weekend, this would be a good choice. I don't like wine (much), but I did love the movie.

Nothing like a ice cold can of Pinot Noir and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. :)
