I just saw an interesting episode of Bill Moyers show, "moyers and company", featuring an interview with Tom Morello. I had never heard of him before, but he was in Rage Against the Machine and was selected by Rolling Stone Magazine as #26 on the list of "100 greatest guitarists of all time". (Yes, yes, I know we had a discussion a few months ago about the subjectivity of these lists...)
In any case, I put 2 of his recent songs on the Recommend a Lesson List...

No arguments there! Would love to see more dylan songs here! Thanks, Neil for the one this week and Happy 71st Birthday to Bob Dylan (as of yesterday).
I just submitted the Tom Morello songs into the mix for some diversity. If the Great Depression of the 30s helped to inspire Woody Guthrie, the current times of the Great Recession, Occupy etc, has inspired people like Tom Morello to use music to promote social justice.
Hi Dean,It might be shooting fish in a barrel, but Dylan could eat alphabetti spaghetti and pass a better protest song than 'the road i must travel'
