Sad news indeed. Matt fought like a lion over a long period. I take from him much inspiration.

Wow, what sad news. This talented man give it everything he had to fight the awful maladies that had befallen him. What an inspiration to us all.
I pray that the Lord will lift up Matt, restore his sight and health, give him the guitar he always dreamed of and a tranquil place to play forever. Matt deserved that.
Rest in peace Matt. We will all miss you and your indomitable spirit.

Heavy and sad news ... my sympathies to all those that supported MattB in his struggle.
I guess we end up asking the same question MattB asks in this great lesson of his:
Where do the good people go?

I'm so sorry for Matt's family and those who knew him best.
I sure dunno what to say... Just a colossal "what does it all mean situation? "
Here's a guy...big heart, indomitable spirit, and just a great guy. Yet, his short life was spent enduring more than most of us can imagine. I just don't get it.
If there's some sort of cosmic explanation/reason I sure as hell hope it's a good one.
