Which Laptop would you recommend?

Thanks for raising this thread Chris. You and others reminded me how great Boss gear is and I have just purchased this little beauty.
No more waiting for Windows to boot up and I can record anytime anywhere I like and it's all self contained. I can even use a DAW with it at the same time
or later or not at all if I prefer. Most things plug into it and option of using internal or external mic. Roll on Wednesday when it will be delivered.

It came a day early, been learning how to use it. It is really cool!

When I get my head around it I will post something, but I'm not sure you will notice any difference, it's just the same as my DAW but faster and
without Windows getting in the way when recording. It comes with a pretty comprehensive manual, but the recorder is pretty intuitive to use I am
finding.

Update

I just bought a used Tascam Gt R1 on Ricardo.ch for about $130.00 (they go for about $350.00 new here) and hope to be doing some recording some time soon... will pick it up this week hopefully....

No AC adapter... have to pull power from the computer with the USB cable....
