Go to page 2 of the "Superpowers - what's your poison?" thread ... see what havoc sheer mental concentration can wreak.

Here is page 1, for starters:

Sorry Michele, don't know my own strength

OK, I'll spill the beans ...

I added a post in response to the aforementioned thread. There were A LOT OF SMILEY FACES in that post. And the page shows up blank now. :(

My guess is that too many smileys breaks the internets, and I just happened to stumble upon that fact.

Maybe I should work for the NSA ? Or move to Russia ?

That is some super strong magic you have there Super-Smiley-Face-Thread-Poster-Man. :) :) :)

Cori and I used the super emoticon cheer-squad approach a while ago and we couldn't achieve your level of scariness. The powers that be obviously know who possess the power to be fearful of, to control.

Maybe it's the law of conservation of smilies.

Mere mortal in awe. I hope you use your power for good SSFTP-Man

Well, all be damned. Pierre, it's almost like you discovered some bizarre secret of quantum emoticon physics or something.  :) :)

Michele, Cori, Willem ...

This new-found power is a heavy load to bear ... so now I gotta find new digs. Should I move into a "Fortress of Smiley-tude" , or a "Smiley-Cave" ?

And gotta keep looking out for that "Smiley-Signal" in the night sky ... (sigh)

I also have to get out the long underwear and stitch in a smiley insignia ...

So much to do, and so little time !

So many considerations Pierre. :)

I'm seeing tie-dyed long johns; rainbow colours. But do you also wear undies (probably best :) ) and should they be over or under, boxers or briefs. :) Deep-purple might be a good choice. You could colour coordinate with a purple cape. :) :) :) you do intend to slick with the classic cape right?!?

And the smiley-mobile... Hybrid, solar, electric or peddle power. :) :) :) :) so many decisions.

What's your motto? Perhaps a competition is in order.

SSFTP- Man - combating frowns the world around

Thanks for the grins. :) :) :) :) :)

No capes! And you may want to rent a second-hand phone both for emergencies...
