AcousticAl - where are those wonderful photos from?

Here in the DC area it is very windy (always a problem as trees get blown down and take the electrical wires with them).
Tomorrow it is supposed to get down to 9 degrees, with the wind predicted to be 10-20 mph.
So I'm just planning to stay inside and play guitar for a day or so.

Lynn

I live near Toronto Canada, Lynn.
Those were just taken with my phone but my daughter got some really nice shots with her camera.
Those shots were after an ice storm we had in late december. The ice was so heavy that we lost A LOT of trees from the weight of the ice. They say maybe 20% of the 'tree canopy' in Toronto is gone.
Also MANY people were without power for up to a week due to trees falling on power lines.

Storm like that comes about once every 20 years. Not in a hurry to see the next one.

Seems to be alot of "flood of the century", "freeze of the century", "heat wave of the century" going around these days Al, about twice every 10 years!!

I used to live where there was at least some seasonal changes. Now I live in an area where that is pretty much the year round norm. When I travel anywhere, I am a huge sissy. When you acclimate to this, you really tend to struggle in real climates....lol ;) I am sure Craig can attest to what I am saying.
