WOW! I can't believe no one has mentioned this yet but one of the true legends of the blues has left the crossroad. B.B. King is dead at age 89. Not only a great guitar player but a great man as well.

Do any of you owe any of your guitar enthusiasm to B.B.?

Rest in Peace Riley B. King. You touched not only a nation but the entire world.

Yes he had a great life influencing so many musicians. As always it is not the person but what you leave that makes you remembered and he will be remembered. He had taken under his wing and influenced two of my favorites Stevie Ray Vaughn and Joe Bonamassa among other great names.

possibly the only guitar legend who's signature sound is one vibrating bent note high up on the neck. R.I.P.
