Funny Little Widget in the Corner

OK, it's really not a problem, it's just that my curiosity is overwhelming. :unsure:

Why is there now an immovable widget in the lower right corner of the window on (apparently) every Totally Guitars web page, which says "Protected by reCAPTCHA" (but apparently isn't! :silly: ) and has links to the privacy policy and terms of use for Google services?

Has Google bought out Totally Guitars? Or am I the only one seeing it? Should I order a straitjacket? :S

(I'm not signed in to Google at the moment, if that makes a difference.)

Yep, it's kind of like what a person has to click on to purchase on line products. To prove that you are not a robot.
