Hello Neil
I'm busy working on "Here comes the Sun" and have a few questions about the right hand fingering on a couple of sections. I think I have them sorted out after watching your videos a few times, but I'd like to be sure before I start committing them to memory.
In measure 15 you explain the pull off from the D to C# on the b string as done by the left hand. Am I right in thinking that you are using the standard finger-picking position there, so those 2 notes, and the open string after are all played with the middle finger, and then the A on the G string is played with your index finger?
I'm aware that you use standard fingering in parts of the song and shifted position in others, its just I can't get my head round this bit.
Also, thanks for answering the question about on beat hammer-ons in the webinar, I sat down today and went through what you had said, and it made sense, I'm working on how to do it now, and you're right, my brain doesn't like it, I've also discovered the on beat pull-off, 1 headache at a time I think.
Can I also ask, is there a reason why in measure 4 (the A7 chord) you alternate middle and index fingers for the first 4 notes on the B string? Is there a technical reason for it?
Thanks for all the help
Joe
