Neil

Chorus First 4 Measures
Please explain / demo the rhythm as you play it.

I can't express how frustrated I am, it's driving me crazy (no comments please )

I put the song aside thinking I'd figure them out with a fresh approach but nope!

The vamp rhythm comes easy to me.
I've reviewed part 3 - strumming many times, where you explain the strumming as pairs of measures
but these first 4 chorus measure have a slight difference that's got me stumped.
Please don't shoot me  :S

Dermot,

The only way this could possibly be addressed is to see a video of what you have so far. The explanation in the video seems pretty clear as to what happens on each beat. I would be glad to review a video but that is probably the only way to be more clear.

Neil

Thanks for the reply, I didn't expect such a quick response ! :)

It's a great lesson, I just love the tuning, sound and feel of it.
The lesson does seem very clear, I can't believe I'm making such hard work of the chorus.
Believe me it's not for lack of effort, I do put a lot of time into the guitar.

I did consider a video but was reluctant because folk generally see a song through before posting.

I'll do a video of the vamp and verse...... the chorus, I am genuinely confused about, It'll just be a noise !

Thanks for your patience

Dermot

Dermot, even if it was just noise, from there Neil can get you on track. Go for it! :)

I say, bring it on Dermot, I think it's really great that you've taken Neil's suggestion to show what is happening for you! :) :) :) Let's finish the frustration! ;)

Don't be so hard on yourself.... :silly:

I am eagerly awaiting both your upload and Neil's response. I really like this song, and hope to get to it sometime soon. Undoubtedly your clip and the lesson that ensues will be of great value to more people than you think. Thank you.... B)

Thanks for the encouragement.

I've tried uploading it several times but the process does not seem to work correctly.
I've put a ticket into support seeking help.

Hopefully Neil will pull Pink Moon back form the brink of death, eh?
