I saw a National Geo episode where a very curious bear just had to see if there was any honey in a hive. He found some, but boy did his face swell up for a couple of days.

Ahoy ye pirates!
Back on topic- I'm in the same boat as Pigors. Close to zero theory- but looking to change that. I think that's one of the things I love about guitar. You can choose how much or how little theory you need. As Neil said in one of the broadcasts- (paraphrasing) you'll be able to play just about anything without theory- but you won't be able to create anything. I know I'll only get to a certain point without it, so I'd like to learn more about it.
I joined the Theory Group as well. Also waiting anxiously for Neil's new theory/scales lessons..

Hi Pigor, Both the sites mentioned here are rather good but I know what you mean the note trainer is actually rather easy and not challenging enoughYeah, but there is only note reading exercise. I was aiming for one where he plays the note and I have to recognize it by my ear.
Take a look at this site, the software is not free but I think it will do what you ask.
