I'm sure you've seen it before, you just didn't notice. The Fisherman for example.

Does anyone know what guitar Hector is playing Pachelbel's Canon in D in the lesson.

It creates a really amazing sound.

Can someone confirm tab accuracy please?

Measure 13
I think the & of Beat 1 should be C# ? ....sounds like C# too.
The Tab shows an A.

Also

Measures 23 Beat 4.
I don't think the tab is correct here either?
Part 4 Left hand 2.51 minutes in?
The notation shows Frets 23 on beat 4, but I think the 23 reflect fingers on the 7th fret of high e and B strings?

As for measure 13, check which position Hector is fingering and if it's the C#, then comment in the 'spot the slip'-section.

As for measure 23, the tab as well as GP shows: second fret on the 1st string, third fret on the 2nd string, played as a pinch. (F# and D).

Vanessa

Measure 13
16 seconds into part 4 Left Hand ... looks like he plays C#
Where's the spot the slip section, I didn't know such a section existed?

Measure 23
I think that might be a slip too, as Hector doesn't appear to play it as per the tab playing at the 7th fret ?
Part 4 Left hand 2.51 minutes in?

I am just seeking reassurance that I'm practicing it correctly and haven't overlooked something.

Edit
This is a great piece of music, I just love it.
Fingers crossed I manage !

Firstly, next time send me to the right part please.... :S

Secondly, you're right.

Measure 13, indeed a C#.

Measure 23, those notes F# and D (the tab says 2nd fret top string and 3th fret second string.). Hector plays the F# at the 7th fret, second string. And the D, 7th fret on the third string. Same notes in standard notation......

You've spot two slips.....check the forum for the 'spot the slip'-thread.

Vanessa

I see what you mean.... it's the same note.... F# and D.... further up the fretboard.

Thanks
