Thanks for the great site. Your videos are very easy to follow.

So here is my problem: partial barre chords. I can do a full barre, no problem. But when it is time to do a partial barre, it feels like my hand is in the wrong position or my stupid first finger mutes some of the strings. If I switch to holding the guitar on my left leg classical style it is a little better, but who wants to play this way (besides classical guitarists) ? Do you have any tips on hand position or exercises to beat my left hand into submission?
