I am a 62 year old man that has been taking lessons for a 1 1/2 yrs and would like to get your input on what songs I should take a look at trying to learn. I would classify my ability as an advanced beginner.
I can play most songs rhythmically, but when it comes to tossing in some leads I seem to struggle. I have been looking at and practicing Norwegian Wood and You've Got To Hide Your Love Away.
Would appreciate any input you can provide. I have taken a look at the 5 beginners lessons and have been able to play the accompanying songs in each of them.
Your input will be greatly appreciated! It has been a lifelong wish to be able to play guitar, but I am wondering if I am expecting too much of myself since I have started so late in life.
