Hello Neil,

I know you have a lot of work ahead of you and the requests you get must be overwhelming. But my question is regarding fingerstyle tunes. I am wondering when you plan to have "complete" fingerstyle lessons on the TARGET site? I know you have some teaser type of things out there. For example "Rhiannon". In the "Play through" you play the intro and then break into the melody. However, in the lesson you play the intro then the accompanyment chords. I was very disappointed because I wanted to learn the entire song in a solo fingerstyle arrangement. There are so many many songs that make beautiful fingerstyle pieces as you know. What are your plans regarding those kinds of lessons? Thank you Neil.

Neil,

I agree. I ran into the same thing with Elton John, Madman across the Water. Nice finger style teaser in the play through with the melody line, but the lesson is strictly strumming chords and the riff.

Thanks

Perhaps one possible solution is to do these lessons like the "Yesterday" lesson, where both the chord accompaniment and a solo version were covered. That way those who are less advanced or just want to learn the song to sing along to have a version to use. Those who want a chord/melody solo version have something to work on also.

Keep Playing
