What Key

I am learning a new song for a gig coming up and one of the guys reckons its in G and I reckon its actually F#. The song is Luka by Suzanne Vegas. Can anyone please tell me what it should be?

She plays it in F# by having the guitar tuned down 1/2 step and fingering it in G.
