Hey Neil,
I'm having an issue with anchoring while I'm playing leads. Is there any way to get over this without an intense amount of practice? It doesn't seem to hinder my abilities, but I'm sure that you could give me an example of it doing so further down the road. Oh yeah, I'm looking for a good tech in the bay area to re fret my tele at a reasonable price. Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Dale

Dale- I've tried hard to break a very old habit of anchoring but then I've seen several educational DVD's recently where they say that anchoring is just fine. I anchor because I feel like it increases my accuracy but I suspect it's just training wheels!Hey Neil,

Hi Welcome Dale
Big problem for me too.
It would take me a year of constant practice to anchor a finger or 2.
I know I'm bad but unless Neil says I must learn It then...
While I wright this Im thinking of Day Tripper Im currently working on and struggling to hit the right strings, with more practice I know I'll get them 95% of the time.lol
