Neil, I just joined a few days ago and really want to know if I could incorporate some of the beginning of Time in a bottle with the appedg. version lesson that you gave. IN otherwords maury's part. I'd really like to have an intro before the dminor rundown. I'm originally a lead singer turned guitarist, used to be in rock bands because of my chops but never played an instrument until the 80's when i had a quick course in keyboards. IN my early years i use to take guitar lessons but really at that time i did not take it seriously and gave up. I'm 55 now and am thinking about singing and playing either solo or group. I have an understanding on what it takes, because i have friends that already play and they have gotten me to try my hand at guitar again. I'm really excited on playing and even been looking at a harmonizer. I'm glad i found your site!! I feel i have a pretty good ear at figuring songs out because i use to do that with the keyboards in the 80's However music theroy could always use improvement. I put myself in the intermedite group and have been working on ventura highway I have the strumm pretty much along with singing it. I want to move to the metronome to make sure i'm smooth.
