Neil,
I just saw McCartney a couple of weeks ago here in Atlanta, the best show I've seen him play! He did A Day in The Life (into Give Peace a Chance). What a great tribute to John. But it also reminded me of what a great song it is. Could you put up a lesson, I've been playing with it, but has several melodies and strumming patterns so I'm still working to try and get it down.
What a great site, I enjoy being able to go back to the songs so easliy, and the new campfire songs are really great and fun to learn.
Thanks
Pete Braun

"A Day I(n The Life" also holds the Guinness record for longest sustained chord. The E Major at the very end on the piano.

I had forgot to re-tune after getting into the AC at church and as I played I kept getting further and further away from everyone else. It was actually sounding good for a bit then suddenly it made it to the point where it became seriously wrong. I turned around and started looking at the others and we were all checking our instruments.

Not right away, but hopefully for Christmas. Just one of those things to keep it all new. And they each include a video, so it makes it that much more. I plan to give my grandson Rockband for Xmas as well ( he is 10 and has gone to the last 2 McCartney concerts and countless Beatle tribute shows. I think I got him hooked when he was 2 or 3, first song he learned was And I love Her (singing).

I tried to play Guitar Master/Rockband whatever its called and it was horrible! I kept wanting to finger chords instead of hitting buttons.

Hey Paul nice to see you on the forums with such a sensible request of a great John + Paul + John song. Like to introduce yourself to everyone on that thread?
