Neil, you told the story about playing for a wedding reception. My local instructor did the same recently and played the above piece. There seem to be a number of versions on the web. Would you consider doing at least the intro for this piece. Thanks,

Mirahill.

Excelent song! Have you seen the spoof on YouTube? I think it's call Pacabel's Rant or somthing close. It is really funny!

Hey, welcome to the program, we're glad to have you! I ask everyone this but would be so kind as to go over to the Please Introduce Yourself thread and tell us a little about yourself? Where you live, age group, music tastes, where you are on your guitar learning journey, that kind of stuff. We've all done it and it's a great way to find out what us guitarists have in common! It is really cool how close knit this site is and how we help each other with problems.

Anyway, if you ever need anything, just jump in and ask. You'll get more help than you can possibly use. Some of it may even be useful!! lol! Cheers!! :cheer:

If you want a good transcription for solo guitar, check out the version by Dennis Burns. If you google that name along with Pachelbel's Cannon it'll come up.
