Explain in what key you are playing in when you place a capo on any fret?
Thanks
Capos
Welcome to the forum and TG site, dopeygm. To answer your question it depends on what fret your are capoing at and what chords you are playing.
Check out the thread below. If you have any questions after that let me know.

Hey big welcome to the program! Glad to have you with us. If you wouldn't mind could you go over to the Please Introduce Yourself thread and tell us a little about yourself? Where you live, how old you are, what are your musical tastes and where you are on your musical journey. We've all done it and it's painless, I promise!
When using a capo the easiest way to know what key you are in is to figure out the key in the open or un-capoed position (that is a seperate discussion). Then just count up the neck. If the song is in C in the open position and you put the capo on the second fret you are two half steps up so you are now playing in D. It's just that easy!
I hope you enjoy the program and let us know if we can ever help you out. Just ask and you'll be swamped with information. Probably more than you can ever use!
Good luck and cheers!! :cheer:
