Are you classically trained?

Neil, just wondering if you were classically trained; & do you think it's a hindrance or help? (for popular music I mean).

Neil; thanks for answering this in the newsletter! Yes; I've heard some famous pop musicians say classical can mute your creativity. But, like you said, having that as your foundation is only positive. Seems to me the fingering on classical makes the most sense for an even-flow, but old habits are very hard to break:( Thanks for bringing both worlds together!
