how do I view the tab in the beginning lessons? It sounds like it is to appear automatically.

You will find the tab in the Lesson attachments - generally provided as a pdf doc.

Now if I were you, I'd get over to the "Introduce yourself here" section and tell us you life history before Bear or one of the others gets to hear that you've arrived incognito
